i was in dubai for 2 weeks in july and it was awesome i saw a couple in dubai but prob 10 or 12 in abu dabi. (also saw some really rare shit like a veyron and a ccx koenigsegg)

awesome place i loved it.

f**king hot thought i july is the peak of there summer. over 50 degrees everyday lol

they drive all the 2008 model cars chevys 2008 mustange corvette and ferraris lambos basically all the makes and models u can think of. they are very rich there. and everyone speaks english i didnt speak arabic for a whole week except to my cousins who live there.

No Way

4000 dirahams is inclusive of insurance, over there you cant rent a car unless its insured!!

And by the way its not that expensive, maybe for the unfortunate... But then again rent a Getz or something.

But yeah in Dubai u can grab urself a LH Drive Lambo 2005/6 model for a meh $90,000

wonderful place :) ehehe i go pretty much every year and stay in that 7 star Burj Al'rab... they know how to live for sure!!

well it cost me 3Gs there and back and hotels are very expensive the cheapest one is 250aus so better save up, and its a very cool country. i went there in winter and it was 30C everyday aircon on nonstop.

man ive lived here 5 years now, u sure it was winter? right now its about 18-20 degrees and this is our winter...no way is it 30 in winter...maybe in november it gets that way..but december onwards it drops bro..

u can get cheaper hotels than 250 - but they will be in Bur Dubai or Karama (i.e. Shit areas)

some photos from exotic cars..just so u know whats for sale in the 2nd hand shop. i live near Al Aweer showroom where they sell the convertible zondas/veyrons and modified supercars etc.

These are the bunkies that are parked outside that cant fit in the showroom. at one point they had a gallardo, SLR and about 10 modified Kleeman/AMG Mercedes out here and Hamann M5's, AC Schnitzer M6s. all u need to do is see an autotrader here..hilarious cars in there.

people with alot of money buy that and i have seen all these cars on the road and they sure know how to live there its crazy yet so western and its in the middle east it feels like just like any other european country, and i have to say thats amazing. and i love it there im going there at the end of this year again. and recommend everyone to go there. its so cool

My mate has just returned from Japan where he was able to rent a GTR for around $700 per day. He said it was VERY nice

GTR for rent in Japan

He actually wanted to rent this one but they said "Go rent a GTR white boy!"

u got ripped on the tickets bro.

i paid 2400 for me and the missus.

and for the accomodation i got my gf cousin to book it for me (they live in dubai) and it only 180 per day (360 per day on the internet)

i want to go again in febuary for there anual shooping festival (see what the boss says seeing i just got back from overseas like 2 weeks ago lol)

    • Does your rb gearbox have the common input shaft bearing sound? (One one where it goes away when u push the clutch in or get to higher revs) I heard if you put the wrong oil it can get this sound.

    • Yeah...I always start at the shift solenoids, because there's only a few reasons these will spook into limp mode, and bad shift solenoids is one ~ the other can be the shift control module (if you have steering wheel shift buttons)...it's easier to eliminate the solenoids first.
    • Might piggy back off this thread since there's been a good discussion about PWM.   I purchased a Walbro 460 F90000267 and have been looking into PWM to understand it. It was purchased more of a future proof as my original OEM fuel pump died (r33 below 200kw) and figured I'd just upgrade it to this. That's when it hit me that a pump this big can cause more dramas with such high amperage draw and heating of the fuel pump being on 100% all the time in such a mild setup.   I have a Nexus R3 and slowly collecting power mods but I was looking into the PWM feature on the NSP software:   Then looking at the graph from the fuel pump:     Am I safe to assume reducing duty cycle to 50% for example would make the pump run like a 230/lph ? Where does the PWM come in all of this ?   I've gone down the rabbit hole of PWM fuel pumps and it seems there are many differing opinions on how to go about it 😅
