ok well let me put it this way - I rang Ben and he said "keep the standard bar as it's better for the oil cooler" (Mick had a genuine Nismo bar sitting there ready to put on but the boss said no)

LOL

LOL, like i said, i dont know how applicable/practical the theory is to Skylines....but it has to have some substance as you see it on cars running coolers up front...almsot all the GT2 cars etc etc

The Z Tune actually runs twin front oil coolers. The rear coolers are diff and trans coolers.

The bonnet itself is actually from Unique Autosports in NSW. I've had it for a while - same people that did Jacks R33 one. But the stuff from JSAI while it wasn't 100% perfect (took a little bit of fiddling to get it to fit bang on) was overall pretty damn impressive for the price of it all. I genuinely have no drama's at all with the quality of it and whilst Josh can be hard to deal with at times I'd put up with it again if he ever had something else I wanted to get as I wouldn't hesitate getting stuff from him again.

Nice andrew, how long before the paint has its dose of Sponsor stickers? :)

Haha - less than 2 weeks. My 1st rally is on Jan 31st in Tassie. The car is being entered as a 2005 Nismo GT-R Z Tune (hence why I've done the kit).

Looks ace, is this the same kit as Aaron has on his? Really finishes the car off and the best colour for a 34 IMO, good work :)

Na Aaron has the top secret side skirts and bonnet and the Nismo front bar.

looks nuts dude.

question why not do the skirts in black to match the lip and more Z Tune like??? but looks hot either way

wanna sell me you stock GTR bonnet??? lol

cant believe such a hot car is only a race car :( (or is it road registered as well???)

cant wait to see this in flesh at deca or next track day.

    • Realised I never posted this , also I never got a price
    • I'm glad to hear you've joined the SKI club. Spend the Kids Inheritance.
    • I have a VALCON if anyone wants it, I have no idea why you'd want to have VVT specifically broken out of the ECU as opposed to running it off the FCON/whatever standalone you have.
    • Hi Yes we're a bit optimistic we might get something out of sealing up the two pipes of the external wastegate and reactivating the stock one. I believe the orginal stock wastegate was tack welded shut. It doesn't budge and visually looks closed and sealed. The car has noticeably more lag so it could be at least part of the problem, maybe all. It's definately one of the key changes made since last tune. And it's one that's more difficult to fully understand and measure, not like for instance timing or cylinder compression.  Thanks for that feedback, we'll let you know how this progresses. Fingers crossed.   Regards Rob
