You should get gtst brakes and rotors and change to 5 stud rims.

I'm with and3_3, get a 5 stud pattern it opens your options up for future upgrades. I know that's what i plan to do once i get mine...if =p (nah should be very soon though currently offering on one)

yea i think my brake is going to give up soon the old owner really killed it i dont know what he did but the rear left brake makes noises when driving at low speeds im not sure if im going to keep this car after i get my fulls or should i just turbo it? a bit hetick though may as well get the gtst? im still half hearted but i reckon at the end im going to end up getting new brake pads and machine the rotors or get new brakes, and also i some times go mountain driving on the week ends soo yea its hard, grip or good braking....... :P

look alikes??

:s

I would go the GTS T upgrade for sure... look alikes they are sure to b heavy and probably give u less performance then anything. I know its easier to get these rims and im sure the car will look mint in them... but no one should say no to a good brake upgrade... especially if u r having trouble with yours at the moment... its what stop the car you know... haha

besdies some good tyres like the pontenza series on gts t rims will give you more then enough grip on the road...

then save and get some geniune rims... lets say something like P1 buddy clubs :P haha... ;)

and as everyone is saying... yes 5 stud does give u more rims to look at.

yea i guess so lol looks like ill be getting the brake upgrade hahahah cost a fair bit 700 hubs front and rear and gtst brakes off a series 2

i was thinking of doing it my self save a but of $$$$ has anybody done it them selves? is there any thing i should be more careful of, or any pointers would be most helpful to me oh and after i've done this i dont think i would be getting new rims very soon lol money money money lol i asked a tire guy and he said the enkei or advanti rpo3 or rpo1 would set me back almost 2 grand for a set with 8 or 8.5 up front and 9 or 9.5 at the rear, im trying to get it as wide as possible but would 9.5 inch by 17s fit in the rear? not really sure about it.

700 bucks aint a bad price. Take you time, do it right and do it once. There shouldn't be any problems. Just make sure youve got a socket big enough to take off the rear hub nut (I think its about a 36 - 38mm ), and a really long breaker bar for it.
