32 Gtr Seats

OK when i brought my gts32 it had 32 GTR seats fitted. I have owned the car for eight years and never crashed it myself but i suspect it was involved in a accident as there are some signs of repairs(minor) to the front end.

I have recently noticed the drivers seat was not mounted flat to the floor ie the seat was leaning in to the centre of the car, however upon inspecting the mounting i find it all to be OK and proper which figures because im sure i would have noticed before if it was crooked the whole time. Turns out that the actual problem is the metal frame inside the drivers seat is starting to bend so i give it a push and find it straightens back up very easily TOO EASILY, im windering with the amount of 32 GTR seats kicking around has anyone esle had this problem.

I think i may have to splash out for new seats as this could be a nightmare in the event of an accident.

Update - the metal frame on the trans tunnel side of the drivers seat that conects the seatback to the recliner hinge broke.

so i pulled it out at work and got it TIG welded up.

Anyone heard of this happening before?
