Hi Guys,

Ideally I would like someone who owns a R33 GTR to check this on their car for me please.

The problem is that my panel shop repaired my rear bar, although I think that they haven't aligned it properly.

I have attached photos for you guys to see what I am talking about below.

Shouldn't Section 1 be flush with Section 2?

Currently Section 2 sits about 3mm underneath the top, I am pretty sure this wasn't how it was before, can someone please check on theirs?

Thanks :D

Hey mate,

I just cheacked mine.

The skyline panel on mine does stick out past the bumper a few mm... But it runs the same all the way along. like the indicator likes sit a few mm past the bumper etc

Does that help?

Hey Mate,

Yeah that helps heaps thanks! Yeah mine also runs the same all the way along including the tail lights. Seems like they repaired it properly which is good.

You know whats weird though? On my mates R33 GTS-T the lower bumper sits out a few mill past the 'Skyline' and real tail lights.

Anyway cheers your a champ and saved me from taking it back down. :D

Mine is the same as yours after a re-spray as well. But it is the correct alignement. When cars are put back together by hand with care they are generally put back together how they where designed to be installed from day. You get build variation in factory and not every car aligns the same.

I personally feel the gap helps align everything for the indicators etc and looks stylish :D
