R 34 Diff Noise

Hello all,

i have purchased an R34 gt and have a loud noise coming from the diff.

The guy i got it from reckons its a limo and that its normal.

Has anyone had this problem, is it normal.? It makes like a clunking noise when

you turn at slow speeds under load.

does the inside wheel skip when you turn a tight radius slowly? If so yes it is ok. Enjoy.

how loud is loud???

something you hear with the radio on???

if hes talking about limited slip diff......it shouldnt be that loud at all.....

if the car lowered?

i would suggest checking the diff oil......

I have a very similar problem...maybe I have bought your car...

Mine is a R34 GTT though...not lowered but when turning on low speed (1-5km/ph) it make a huge loud bang noise like you are going through a putt-hole at a certain speed

Also the car would jump a little, literally like going through a bad road as well as the rear wheel seem to skip a lot more as i can hear little tires squeaking noise...i can only enter corner at a higher speed or slowly enter the corners with my clutch on then only accelerate when the car is straighten up again...

I am absolutely clueless but the guy told me it is a "diff" problem and needs to be fix so i brought it to my friend's workshop however he specialise more in family cars but at least he is a mechanic, at least he can find out what the problem is first...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
