similar thing happend to me last sunday when i was parked on side street while i was at the pa hospital. come back to the car to find a note and that i had been reversed into with a nice towball punch in my front bar. however they did leave a contact number. which i thought was very unusual these days as the last car i saw with a note on it said "hey mate i hit your car but you can go get f&*(ed". i got some quotes but they only seemed to offer me after market front bars and i rather like the one i have. so i spoke to a mates old man and for half the price of a new one i can fix my bar and she is paying for it. works out well as i can fix the other part of it that was driveway damaged as well.

but as far as for where to park look for other skylines. if i see a park next to another one i dont care how far i have to walk at least i know they wont go bangin into me. (well thats the hope anyways)

I was lucky to find one hidden in a shed. It's been there for over 10 years now, without being driven, and has less than 50k on the clock. I've convinced the guy who's been hoarding it to part with it (less than 10g). I know I've got a bit of work to do to get it back on the road, with replacing seals/rubbers/oils etc, but it'll be fun. :D

Lucky you man...All the Turbo Cosworths that I have seen are fetching more than most R32 GTR's.. Have a look on Carsales...One in vic asking 49K for it

It's not the Cosworth, the Cosworth has a modified head to give it more power. This one's a standard turbo XR4 model, that looks like a Cosworth.

On another note, I saw some nice looking Skylines on the Sunshine Coast over the last two days! And not one new dent on the R33!

    • Tbh, I have no idea who this is bahahaha. hint? I live in the real world now, certainly not swinging spanners anymore though
    • Joey, are you still in playing "spanner club" Mafia somewhere mate? Or you now out in the real world where you actually have to work for a living? BTW, the car looks clean, and the pods look sweet, are you removing to go full OEM type of resto?
    • I like the idea of tagging the model, and if GTS-t/GTt or GTR, and then a what, so wiring, engine, suspension.   That way you end up with a matrix, all content R33 GTST, or you can find all content that is wiring related for example.
    • You could probably just go with the genuine Nissan pads, they are not really the expensive, I can't say how they compare to your 350GT pads but at least they will give decent performance. Shims are probably the reason for the squeal.  When I bought my Q50 which runs the same Akebono brakes, the previous owner had some weird pads fitted and it squealed and dusted like crazy, I bought genuine pads and when I put them in, I found all the shims missing.  With the factory pads, the dusting is much better, performance is fine, but it still squeals when cold.  A bit of grease on the back of the pads and mounting points gets rid of it, but it comes back after a while.  I have bought a genuine shim kit that I need to install when I get around to it, hopefully that will fix the squeal.
    • Highlight that row, and a bit of trial and error. Try reducing it by 25% and see if it starts, if not, go the other way. On the newer Kebabtechs that table is in VE which makes it so much easier to calibrate.
