Help With Bose Stereo And Ipod

Hi guys,

I have already sent a pm to Chris, but thought I'd post here in case anyone can help me out:

I had Chris install a Griffin ipod cradle etc into my car, which has the Bose stereo and factory screen. However, I can't seem to remember how to get it to read from the ipod: I need someone to coach me through it, either in a post, or over the phone. The ipod is fine, the problem is me: I had to have chris fix it after a mate pushed a few buttons last time. I don't know how to drive the screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dont have the griffin unit, but have an ipod dock installed and to use it i just have to pop the screen and press the tv button then use your controls on the ipod. Works a treat

If you have the one I have which uses a remote, when in the TV menu, VTR mode needs to be selected. From memory this is one of the top right buttons on the screen. Sounds like your mates have switched u to TV mode and hence ur problem. happened to me a few times.

All sorted: Chris to the rescue, as usual! n15m0 was on the right track: I didn't have it in VTR.

I ALSO hadn't switched on the Griffin unit (DUH!)...
