Reverse Lights Constantly Stays On Whilst Not Revsering

Ive got a Mitsubishi GTO series 2 model which sits my garage it rarely get driven , today i went to start up the car and the reverse light stays on the car whilst the car is not in revserse has anybody got any ideas what this could be blow fuse maybe ?

Where are the reverse switch generally located ?

around the top of the box usually. two pin plug.

I had a look today couldnt found the swtich can you describe this plug in a little more detail plus is it normally located inside the car under the leather cover area ?

under the car, RHS of the gearbox about 2/3 of the way up. There are 2 switches one is the neurtal switch the other is the reverse switch. They screw into the gearbox and have 2 wires coming out of each.
