thanks cam , also wondering about this ecu edit through nrvous , he mentioned shit points can be altered and firmed up , maybe wait for ecu edit instead of buying the shift improver from MV , COMBINE all in one with ecu ,save money for other mod's , he he he . :D

Shift points, yes.

Shift speed, I doubt.

Actually, that is the only time mine is quick.

Around 5,500-6,000 the change is very quick :P

The change is quick when it decides to finally do it. It is just that I try to change at 5500 rpm (change by triptronic) and at about 6800 it gets around to doing it. :D

ive found if my foot is on the floor, it will change when IT wants to, not when i hit the lever lol

maybe ill let it get a little closer to redline ;)

that said, im still VERY interested in a shift kit. i dont think an ECU remap will affect gear changes much. as already stated, the speed of the shift is in the mechanics of the box itself.

i still rekon its smooth to save the driveline additional stress. but we all know you can take driveline components well over the factory 'limits' hehe
