Hey guys just wondering if it's a straight forward swap? The reason for is because it is white with the red needles and that would match the gauges I'm planing on getting.

I'm looking into this too. The circuitry on the back is pretty simple. Here is what I have found so far:

Left side pins:

Oil/Boost Earth

Oil Temp Signal

Boost Signal +

Boost Signal -

Right side pins:

Illumination Earth

Battery Earth

Illumination 12V

Battery 12V

The voltage and illumination is no problem, just tap into the radio loom. But you will need to find GTR sensors for the oil temp and boost.

would be an awesome swap... is there any mods needed to do to the dash to fit?

There are differences in the pin configuration for r32 series cars for certain years, try it and see.. I have a late r32 gtr dash in an early r32 gts4. Lots of electrical crap was wrong but it is easy to shift the wiring around in the connector.

Cheers guys, have to get hold of a cheap cluster and see what I can come up with.

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
    • Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....
    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
