Darkness_Ryda1
As the title says, my sunroof has jammed. its not open sliding ways but up ways if that makes sense. the rear end of the sunroof was raised and now it wont go back down. have had to borrow my friends car cover because i dont want the rain to get in. does anyone know what to do to fix it:? (i tried WD40 and it didnt work) seems to be more mechanical than anything. Anyone had this problem previously? Any help would be great as im trying to sell her and its not a great feature Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/253900-jammed-sunroof-xd/ Share on other sites
teng
Your skyline should have a manual winding hex key to manually wind the sunroof back. Use that. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/253900-jammed-sunroof-xd/#findComment-4386697 Share on other sites
Darkness_Ryda1
hmm is that to wind it back and forth only or up and down too? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/253900-jammed-sunroof-xd/#findComment-4387264 Share on other sites
teng
By right it should be able to do both. I've only tried opening and closing so far. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/253900-jammed-sunroof-xd/#findComment-4387785 Share on other sites

teng
Look at the two images. Pull down the sunroof switches to reveal the motor and insert the hex key to the round hex thingy on the 2nd picture and then turn clockwise or counter clockwise to see what happens. lol Edited January 25, 2009 by teng Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/253900-jammed-sunroof-xd/#findComment-4389383 Share on other sites
