Need Help - Air Ratchet

Anyone (Ryan?) got an air ratchet? Similar to what the tyre shops use on wheel nuts?

I've got a huge 36mm nut to remove off a bike's clutch basket, but even the breaker bar won't budge it. Thinking an air racket tool would be the trick. I already have the 36mm socket.

I posted this up in wasteland, but I'm half expecting it to buried under the usual chit chat.

I cant help with the impact wrench mines sitting in the states still..lol,,but have you tried a cheeter bar over the breaker bar? to make it longer? I'm sure you have but just a suggestion..lol

Tried that. Clutch pack is removed from the bike. Got it in gear and rear brake stomped on hard. But there is always that 1/4 turn you get before the pressure is really applied from clutch basket to gearbox to drive chain to rear wheel ... if you know what I mean.

An air (impact) ratchet would make short work of it. Far easier.

Bugger! I was hoping to avoid buying one. But I guess I should, after I had trouble getting the RB pulley off, now this!

Air gun got my pulley off, just have to have one with more than 500ft/lbs of torque

little one wouldnt budge it but the big one took a whole of 30 seconds

Out of all the timing belts ive done for dudes (about 30) i've never once used one. Can't fit a compressor in the back of a 33. hehe

I use a Dewalt rattle gun for crap like this. Has plenty of balls; no issues removing the bolts out of a diffs ring gear, flywheels etc.

Rattle Gun + Press + Welder are the most useful tools one can own.

he doesn't need it to pull the balancer off, its for a bike... im pretty sure you can get a impact wrench on the side of a bike with no room issues... lol

and no it wont pull the balancer off you need a pully puller for that
