hi all

i have this Defi head up display that came with me car 3yrs ago.

im just wondering. the unit will do Trip,1/4mile,rev, &speed.

but the speed displayed is actually half of what the actual speed is? i never bother to fing out until now. WHY? does it act as a speed limiter remover as well?

Your speed pulse setting is incorrect. Not sure how the Defi one works but the Apexi RSM has multiple settings to suit different speed sensors.

My RSM shows half the actual speed when set to 4P... The correct setting is 2P.

the defi vsd has two models. if you goto the www.defi-shop.com i think is the website. they should have the manual there. i have the sports vsd which does those options but ive never used it so i cant tell ya how to set em. either way the manual has all the info.

you will. after i got mine installed the first thing i did was find out how fast it would go. 267. im aiming on trying to get 200 miles an hour. yes im insane but should make a good video.

well, thats going by the acuracy of the speedo settings. because of non standard wheels i used a gps on a freeway. then drove at 100 by the gps and set the speedo to match. the wheels meant the speedo was about 2-3 % out. it didnt just get there like was on a open road and held it for about 20-30 km then afterwards checked. good fun.
