Installing Oil Catch Can - Need 2 Move Battery...

g'day

ive seen people get quite large oil catch cans and install them where the battery goes.

now i was just wondering where do they then move the battery to ? the boot ?

has anyone had this done or done this themself ?

You can move the battery to the boot but you will need some sort of ventalation. like the 33's have the batteries boot mounted from factory and it has a small vent going out. apart from that don't have much to offer. you would need to run a positive cable up to the battery from the bonnet and then just ground it to a point in the boot.

Must be a big ass catch can...

I use to have a catch can next to my battery and the brace that holds the catch can is bolted under the battery brace.

Best I can think of is to slide the battery across towards the radiator coolent reserve tank to give youself as much room to fit it.
