Is anyone using these coilovers, i like the spring rates but i need to know what that 20mm lower looks like. Would any of you use these?? Theirs atleast of half dozen different kinds of coilovers for roughly the same price but most of them would suck 95% off the km's i put on the car but would be incredible in thoes times when i go crazy down a back road or autoX. I plan on more drag racing then anything but need good handeling for road trips.

Loyal NISMO fans, do you like or dislike this line of coilovers?? Hows your cars stance with them??

I have them on my 34, they lower the ride height from stock but honestly you'd be hard pressed to notice.

They are compliant on streets at ~5kg and have 5 clicks of adjustability, I think the proper s-tune

suspension comes with matched anti sway bars as well..

They are dirt cheap in Japan in the used parts market now, presumably because most people sell them and

uprate to two or three way adjustable suspensions. I certainly would not pay list price, for example here is

an r34 used set for 30,000 yen

I think @ list price you are paying partly the nismo label.

Those are bilstien's with nismo progressive rate springs, they have nothing to do with the nismo s-tune suspension.

S-tune is designed for the street, and will be pretty much perfect for a daily driver, if you match them with sway bars then you will have a pretty potent package...

What if you also had DriftWorks coilovers at 8k front 6k rear in mind or Tien Type Flex coilovers at 6k front 5k rear? The DriftWorks unit is claimed to be comfortable for what their spring rates are. Everything else with my suspension will be Driftworks except maybe swaybars. So i wouldn't mind their coilovers if they wont break the old ladies back because to be honest i could care less about daily driving 11k front 10k rear if they were usefull once and a while. The only thing that keeps me wanting type s is how much better they would be at the drag strip, especially with slicks or on the street when everyone else is rollin on solid axles and econo spring rates.
