Help On Disable Auto Door Lock On Viper Alarm

Hi all,

I have the viper 5002 alarm system, just recently installed. great system. The only issue I have is that when the ignition is turn to "ON" positions the doors lock (this is by default). There is a option to re-program using the valet button, but I tried to to do it and successfullly gives me two beeps. But still the doors lock when ignition is on.

Anyone have any ideas

take it back and have the installer put a bitwriter on it. takes two seconds to change it then.

yea i suppose i can do that. but it was just a pain 2 deal wit the fitters in the first place, if i culd do it myself w/o a bitwriter i wuld, thanks 4 the advice mate.

I just spoke to the fitters, they are happy to hook up bitwriter and change the setting, 5min job. Thanks for the reply mate.

oh another question, does anyone know where a good place to mount the flashing sticker, I think i am going to remove it off the front windscreen as it is way too bright and just attracts more attention, I was thinkin of ever covering it with layers of cellophane to reduce the super brightness of it.lol any good suggestions will be nice, thanks guys

pesonally - remove it. those things have a fairly bright blue light anyway.
