R33 - Indicators problem

Hey Guys,

I installed an El Gauge for my dash yesterday, and when going for a test run, I noticed that m indicators wouldn't work. For example, the indicator would swith into place, but there was no ticking noise nor any lights on the dash and not actually switching on the lights....

I have pulled apart my indicator to see if there has been any damage to the switch, but everything seems fine. It's not loose, and it falls into position correctly.

The strangeest thing is that when I set my alarm, the the indicators light up on the car, as well as on the dash??? I have checked to see if my hazard lights work and they work perfectly fine. I have checked ALL my fuses and they are all perfectly fine.

My car is in pieces at the moment.

Please HELP!!!

The hazards are on a separate circuit, and the alarm is probably on the hazard circuit.

Its probable you pinched or broken a wire for the normal indicators, most likely on the input side to the flasher can.

thanks for your reply. what do you mean by 'flasher can'? what does it look like and where can I locate it?

It's the flasher relay - usually cylindrical, usually hides under the dash somewhere. But really, FIIK about the R33's.
