Hi there, hoping for some help, as our Local Nissan dealer is abit useless, we have an issue with the throttle position switch/sensor in our s2 auto. Within the space of 2 months the price of a genuine one from Nissan has risen from $170 to $420, now someone we've spoken to doesn't have a clue, the part number that Nissan have given us for the $420 one is 22620 AA509. I don't really care how much a new one is but it need to be fixed and want to make sure we are ordering the right thing before we part with $420. Is someone able to fast the part number for us just to double check please? VIN #WGNC34 Cheers, Sheridan

i think its sumthing in the gearbox.... call MV Automatics in adelaide at blackwood they can help you i rekn!....

also ut vin isnt wgnc34... thats just means stagea...

How do you get something in the gearbox from my original post??????

And sorry, full vin is 6U900WGNC34122977 (i'm a girl who is over her daily driver not being on the road...)

Thanks again for any help, Sheridan

Hey Chook thanks for that, have just sent you a pm with some details in it, but your'e too quick for me.... Just a little confused though, the part number listed is for post 08/98 as FAST said, but the date stamps on the pink plate just near the strut tower says 06/98, but then on the silver one on the firewall it had 2498, does anyone know it that means 24th week, as in June 98? Or am I just being padantic (sp?), and need to have a cup of concrete and harden the f$%k up???

OK, mine also says 06/00, when in fact mine is 08/00, compliance shop must just estimate the month. Go with the FAST record, but make sure you let Nissan tell you the part # so you are covered if by some strange, unlikely reason it is wrong.

PS 2498 is the cc's

Ok, cool, thanks heaps for your help tonight, like I said earlier I'm just a girl (using her husbands profile, oopps...) who is sick of her car not being on the road, I'll go get that cup of concrete ready.... Let you know what turns up when we oder it... Thanks again, Sheridan

If you havnt ordered it yet, if you are 100% sure on the part number try streeter (i think he's on here?) i just got a part for my stagea, Nissan australia wanted $367 he got it from Nissan japan (he lives over there) for $310 deliverd.
