Nah haven't got one. Take it down the strip soon and I will see what mph it pulls. That will tell me what power it puts down. Old school way and most accurate IMHO.

I was more after the shape of the curve.

Still good, be interesting to see what you pull

I think the -9s on e85 would be whey better, but then again I've been in very quick sr20's and 4g63's, so I know what instant torque on tap is with a 4banger. Once u go torque, u never go lag again

'Instant torque' how instant are we talking with the -9s? Are they known to pull all the way to redline? With a new set of cams that is..

some of the guys with that setup could tell ya more regarding that, but more importantly whats your budget?!

These days 34 GTR N1's can be had for 4 cheap! I'd be focusing on that with the e85 and the cam gears with the tuning!

No need for cam shafts until later if ever

Does anyone know how fast i'd be be going if it took me an hour to get to my destination and the distance was 100km?

^^ Is this a trick question? lol

-5's on built engine with E85 would be the way i would go and if it is in the budget get the 2.8 as it would make them that much better. Here are 2530's (-5's) on a 2.6 with E85. Compare this with other set ups with a 2.8 and the difference is night and day.

Couldn't find the one with RPM.

King87 u made 150hp@ 100km/h = winning.. awesome top end tho! But in all honesty wouldn't 2530's be better suited to a 3.o bro or 3.2/3 for the street?

By the mph about 240kws at the wheels

I'd say 240.318kws @ the dildo shifter to be precise

    • Regardless, it doesn't seem wise especially on RBs to actually chase MBT. Timing scatter is the big one on stock CAS, even if that's fixed overshoot is worse than undershoot.
    • It's all about reducing the overall output. Reduce the source of it, you have wayyyy less to deal with in every other step and trick you play with. It's why something like a modern vehicle, so VW, Audi etc, there's thousands of tables for the ECU to calculate what it should be doing with the engine.   Why would you NOT reduce emissions the most effective way possible, when it has very minimal tradeoff, AND manufacturers are always struggling to meet the current standards.

    • Yeah I've personally seen the RB26 pull 30 degrees of ignition timing out of the base timing map if the ECU detects a cold start, it nearly starts misfiring because of it around 2000 rpm and it feels like the engine has no power. I'm just surprised that modern OEM control strategies are actually trading off efficiency for in-cylinder emissions. I would expect something like aggressive EGR dilution + tumble generation valve use to improve EGR tolerance to reduce in-cylinder NOx + HC from crevice volume while also reducing throttling loss vs pulling out some timing if not knock-limited.
