scandyflick
SAU pool party and BBQ?if only i had a pool! sounds like a go'er. i think i hear ruby volunteering his pool. my mate invited me round for a swim this arvo, but the pool is heated! its like constant 33 deg, whats the point? just bacause the thermometer reads 33 degrees doesnt mean the pool is 33 degrees, they take a weird sample temp from a pipe that is normally exposed to sunlight, so it doesnt really mean much. and shit, even if it 33, thats 10+ degrees cooler than it is out of the pool. craig R33
na the thermometer is actually in the pool, and averages 33+ would prob be more like 40 plus today though not really worth it really? Dohmar
yeah that place is freaking hot my old man used to work up there years ago. UPS's has been going spastic since I got home (and probably before then). Theyve already ran out of charge. And 10 minutes ago there was a spike and everything in the house shut down for a fraction of a second. I'd love to curse etsa but those guys are working their balls off fixing everything. Yep, again I blame all government ;D Government Bad Dohmar Good -D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/254495-crazy-hot/page/7/#findComment-4396409 Share on other sites

whatsisname
You know it's warm when it finally drops below 40'c at 2049hrs, only to reach 40.2'c again at 0300hrs. As for humidity, this place (Adelaide) doesn't get 'real' humidity... I'd rather 40'c and 10%, than 35'c and 95%. Thomasino
Try working in Moomba 53 wearing long pants and shirt plus hard hat and 6 billion flies ........... Yep old mans there atm. Used to work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, heard plenty or stories from there. Went for a dip at about 9:30 at the beach, was warm air but the water was quite cold, actually gave me shivers. Then I got bitten by sea lice (again) and got out. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/254495-crazy-hot/page/7/#findComment-4396720 Share on other sites

Dry heat is easy to climatise, nothing worse than sweating 24/7.
