A Mines ECU... is often not really the best.

It might run the boost fine and not get angry, however with a unknown tune, you really should not be taking the risk.

So... would the car benefit from a tune? Most certainly, Yes.

Bin the Mines ECU and get something decent :P

no need to go for the happy "bin the ecu" suggestion made, just get the car on a dyno to test afr's its like $80 or something to do one run.

If you do this just be careful and let the dyno operator know that the car has an unknown tune and that you just did the mods listed cuase you dont want him to lean on it and do a full power run with an unknown tune... could cause a nice bang... :P

IMO would be better to get hold of a std ecu and run 10psi until a new ecu comes along then sell the stocker for what you paid..

just my 2c

^^ any decent tuner should be keeping any eye on the afrs as they are doing the run, if it starts to lean out they'll stop the run.

imo stick it on the dyno and see what she says, you can still drive around if need be, just dont belt up on it until you get a proper dyno power run.
