I'm trying to stick my apexi safc to the dash but I can't get anyhting that will hold :)

After some advice I went and bought outdoor/automotive double-sided tape from Dick Smith but it still doesn't work...same problem with my mobile holder.

Can anyone recommend some sort of double-sided tape that will stick it to the dash, and not come off in the summer heat? I've thoroughly cleaned the parts of the dash that I'm using for this with metho to make sure there is no oily residue on there, but nothing is working.

Don't glue it that would be shit .. what happens when you wanna take it off

For my turbo timer I tried using double sided tape but that was crap. Now I've got that velcro stuff with supersticky backing. I dunno where you buy it from as I pulled it outta my girlfriend's mum's sewing box :) But I cut strips of that and put them on the timer and stuck in to the dash. Works a treat.

Tek screws :)

The japs seem keen on screwing stuff to the dash...not sure why, for me, screwing through the dash is a last resort.

Tried cleaning the surface of the dash with alcohol before you stick anything to it? Alot of the time its stuff like armorall etc. that causes it not to stick.

like red17 said, clean the area first! i usually use bug and tar remover (the spray on ones from turtle wax) to clean the surface, and then use some good quality double sided tape like the ones from 3M. it works a treat!

alternatively, u can use clear silicon (like the ones for your bathroom) they stick well and would peel off if you ever want it to.

I used a good double-sided tape (from Autobarn) for my AVCR and RSM on the dash. I needed to bend the Apexi stands so they were flush with the dash though.

I cleaned it first with metho, and clamped it down with masking tape overnight - has been fine for 6 months.

You could use black silicon stuff.... Its not actually silicon, but i forget the name.. It just dries a bit stiffer. And if you ever want to take it off the use a hair dryer to make it soft and pull it off.. then clean the dash with keroscene.

Well thats what I would do. Might be hard to get it off tho., but can stil be cleaned off with kero.
