Yeah. Love it!

News - "The price of crude oil has dropped $5"

Petrol Co.'s - "Yes, we can expect the price decrease in a few weeks for the lower prices trickle through the system"

News - "The price of crude oil has increased $5"

Petrol Co.'s - "Yes, you can expect the price of fuel to increase immediately due to the increase in the price of oil"

What can ya do?

Public transport is very poor, so we need to drive.

Turn to the Government?

Why, when;

a) the Government (regardless of which party) is partially funded by oil co.'s

b) the higher the price of fuel, the more money OUR government make

What a great system we have!

Kinda makes you want to see a real life "Fight Club" group take on the big boys, eh?

hmm, what would happen if everyone in Australia quit their jobs, went on the dole and stayed home?

I do find it interesting that the price of crude oil has dropped by 2/3's but petrol has only dropped around 40% from the $1.85 we copped.
