Hey all,

I'm just wondering how you can tell if your standard bov is leaking boost, i know they are designed to prevent over boosting with the little hole on the side of it but does the valve still leak if this is sealed up?

the hole has nothing to do with overboosting

its there because the bov is actuated by a diaphram and you need pressure to one side and pressure/vac to the other side to open it . if you block the hole it wont open properly . it will open but not all the way.

what boost are you running anyway?

waistgate sticking shut causes over boosting, whats it doing?

The boost feels right to me, not over boosting. Im wondering how you determine if your bov is leaking.

If its leaking i think you would be able to feel a big of lag when accelerating.. Well thats what i get with mine when i loosen it anyways
