Air Conditioning !

Hey all,

I have just wrecked a 94 S1 GTS-T. I removed the complete heater & A/C Units from under the dash.

I initially wrecked the car to salvage the RB25DET & Gearbox, to put into my oldschool Datsun 260Z (Pics Attached)

As the original Datto fan & A/C are really pretty poor (pathetic actually !), I was wondering if anyone knew what would be involved electrically in fitting the salvaged Skyline A/C system etc into the old Datto (obviously there will be numerous challenges with the physical fitment, but i will deal with that !). Im no sparkie, so was just wondering what actually conrtrols the system....I know Id need the climate control unit, but does the engine ECU have anything to do with it at all ?

Any help/ ideas etc etc would be very much appreciated !

love the 260 mate - Daytona blue? and the is it a 240 bodied 260?

thats a good question, im guessing it does since there are 3 plugs associated with the AC system, checked out the wiring diagrams for engine and ECU on http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/ but couldnt see any direct idication of the AC activation wiring.

Colour is a Honda Colour.

Yep its a 260Z 2 Seater. There is a 4 seater version called a 260Z 2+2. They are more common, but rather quite ugly in my opinion !
