So a while ago I stumbled across a wikipedia article listing all the nice cars a P-plater could drive. Had at least a hundred, from all different makes. I went to look for it again the other day and cannot find it any where. Don't suppose anyone has a bookmark, or know the exact title to search?

Thanks.

Just use your mind, non turbo ... non supercharged ... turbo and S/c allowed on diesel ... V8 = no except diesel... over 200kw = no. Anything that isnt that is allowed except like 350z's ... some Porshe etc. Little cars like those mini Suzuki Turbos are allowed tho. Most common are like NA Skyliner, Supras and even tho i hate em to the max Commys . I looked for your list and couldnt find ><

I love you.

For some reason I thought it was on the official wikipedia.com website.

I'm still under the old system, I can drive turbocharged cars so long as they remain under the 125kw per ton rule, but I wanted to see all that was available to me.

so p platers over east still can drive the r32 gts t.

Ive never driven a r32 gts t before... are they really that slow stock?

Or is it just becuase of the Japanese and their underestimated power figures?

Anyone know if twin turbo GTO's are legal under the old P plate laws? They're 206kw but 1700kg which places them at around 120kw per ton.

Always loved the car personally, but I've never seen a P plater with one.

If it's under 125kW/tonne, it's legal on P-Platers under old scheme (before 1st July 2007) no matter if it's N/A or Turbo.

Cheers

Sorry to be asking this again, but I can't find anything on google, and can't be Fed signing up to a Silvia forum.

Anyone know if the SR20DET 180SX is P plate legal? It's right on 125kw per ton. Which I assume means it's really up to the cops if they want to do me on it or not. I've always loved the car, but thought due to it's lighter weight it'd be way over the legal limit.

So, anyone ever had owned a 180SX on their P's, or know anyone who has? For reference, I'd probably be getting a 96-97 type X.

Thanks.

There is talk about a R32 GTS-T that is OK for P Platers but I think if you come under the 'New' P Plater laws, cuz its turbo'd P Platers are not allowed to drive it.

There was a thread about this in the Victoria Section and I asked the question about the R32 GTS-T's.

well if it is too close to call just turn the boost down a touch and make it 124kw/t.

Nope, it's calcuated by offical power and weigh figures from car companies (nissan for this instance).

As for SR20 S13/180sx, it's grey area, there was some debate whether it is legal or not on nissansilvia.com forums, heaps of topics has been covered I believe.

Cheers
