hey every1 im lookn at gettn a stag instead of the 32, i need a car with boot room lol. how hard would it be to convert a stagea to manual? has any1 done one? ive already done 1 to my mates 32, and im a mechanic so its no real worries, but would it be easier makn it 2wd and then making it manual, as in new sump n the works or getting a gtr gearbox n keeping it 4wd, im not fussed if its 4wd or 2wd. and help would be sweet thanks.

x2 buy a manual one.

and come look at mine for inspiration :happy:

if your looking at a S2 stagea then just get a manual. these pop up now and again for a decent price. if your going for the cheap S1 then you might have to look around for a bit longer until one that someone already has converted come up for sale.

if your looking to convert one go and have a look in the stagea section. there are a couple of topics on whats need to successfully do it. i'd think the interior trim and handbrake are the hardest part to get your hands on.
