Boosting R34

i have been told that when the 34s get boosted up you get boost cuts coz the ecu wont allow it. ive asked a couple of people and they say i need a tune, but what would be better. tuning a stock ecu or getting remap/nistune?

i was planning to tune the car after i got my zorst and cooler put in with just a safc. would that work or would i need to do something to the ecu?

Increasing the boost, and the potential issues is common and there are lots of threads.

If you take the time to read the FI Guide (a sticky in this section) it will give you links to many valuable threads explaining what you need to do first as a basic mod "set"
