hi ppl..!

few days ago i went to an exhaust dude and got a dump pipe and a cat converter installed on my r33gtst coz i wanted my exhaust to be a little louder although i have a 3.5" kakimoto cat-back exhaust already.

call me dumb..! the dump pipe is 3" and he said the the cat was called "no cat" but anyway he charged me $800 for the job and im thinking if the guy ripped me off.

im not much of a racer but drive daily to work n stuff.but since then of course i feel that i have gained some power but the fuel needle goes down while im looking at it!! :)

-- is it the dump pipe or the cat or both that gives me less fuel consumption?

-- do you guys think i should have a massive cat converter?

thankx

yeah! i can see the O2 sensor on.. might reset the ecu n see how it goes!!

correct me if im wrong,

i thought cat converters burn the unused fuel yeah! so bigger the cat converter more fuel economy + power

No point getting a bigger cat converter.. if you don't know what it is, and what it does.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalytic_converter http://auto.howstuffworks.com/catalytic-converter.htm
