Forget about just coming down for a look. As soon as you see the skidpan you'll wish you had entered. This is grass roots motorsport. You can go as slow or as fast as you like and it's all for fun. Just put in an entry form.

Passengers are allowed all day, but must sign a passenger disclaimer form, and also must wear a helmet.

I couldn't have said it better myself

This is, and always will be, a fun day. Everyone wishes they could get out there when they come up.

Even I do every time I'm there cooking the BBQ for 3hrs each time.

Next DECA i'll have a car thats not a danger to anyone, so im gonna be out there having the time of my life :)

Bugger, I missed out last time because of a wedding, and this time I have already paid up for the Corowa AutoFest, ah fudgestickles... :) Will there be another this year?

Yes, there will be more.

Dates when known... are posted/adjusted in the Events Calendar for ALL events (sticky in this section), so check it regularly :)

No worries, I'll know for sure later next week. And confirming, I can bring a completed CAMS application form with payment on the day and compete?

It's prferable that you send in an entry form before Tue 24th, as we will be compiling running orderes on Wed 25th, and then after this we wont be checking the fax machine.

Yep CAMS can be done on the day, if you havn't held a CAMS licence within the last year.

Thats not a bad way to get more driving time

okay i'm in for this one. i'll fill out my entry form on the weekend and send it through with payment.

is it alright if i post up a link to this on aus300zx to see if anyone is interested from over there, or are SAU members still getting preference?

In saying that.

If any of you guys/gals want to come to DECA and help out that would be fantastic.

We will need people to be Officials on the day .

being an official is a pretty sweet deal. Last time I got a front row seat on the skidpan, free water, cool fluoro vest and a stop watch and i got to watch everyone run. oh and free food too. and i don't get sunburnt so it wasn't bad at all :D if you can't enter the event, it's still a good way to learn because you get to watch everyone and see what works.

Yeah thanks heaps for you help last event Sandeep. We couldn't have run the day without you!

If anyone else is coming up and can lend a hand let us know here:

After all, the day is run entirely by volunteer help, so if your coming up and can bring a mate to help out we'll feed them, water them, and try to give them a front row seat too.

We need starters, timers, and help on the back track to notify timers of when someone hits a hat.

how far away/long does it take for you guys steve?

Yeah its about 7 hours, longer if stops are needed for food/drinks etc :P

The important thing to get right is to not leave when Sydney has peak hour, thats just death

Not long enough IMO - Steve smells funny

:D

Oi you!
