Hey all

Just asking a question... My battery Keeps on Dying very quickly and once driving it if i dont drive it the next day then the battery goes dead....

The only rewiriing that i ever did was install the steeo but after I did it this problem came about around 3 weeks later i have since un hooked stereo and taped all wires up, but it still does it..

Anyone have any ideas before i book it in to an Auto Elec'y

yeah water levels are fine and battery is brand new.. well i bought in about a month ago as i thought that it might have been the problem as stock one is very small so i got a bigger one but the problem still happens

check the water levels and top them up ?

you should technically be only running a sealed battery in the boot.

as for the problem, your alarm could be draining your bat, could also be your alternator not working properly so its not charging the bat properly maybe? swap the battery if you can to see if its not the bat itself thats dodgy.

You need to check battery voltage while the engine is idling and at elevated revs (around 2k). If that doesn't reveal anything, you need to start looking for something that is drawing current when everything is shut down.
