Series 1 Afm In Series 2 R33

Hey, ive searched through forums for the past half hr and can't seem to find a straight answer.

I'm about to buy an r33 series 1 afm, will it fit onto my r33 series 2 with no problems at all?

I just need somebody who definitely knows so i don't go ahead and waste my money. Thanks.

No, the resolutuions are different and I think even the plugs are.

With a re-map yes....but otherwise no.

its basically the same unit, same resolution, same voltage etc

the main difference is the plug

the series 1 AFM has 4 wires

the series 2 AFM has 3 wires

if you really want to use the series 1 AFM You need to link up the ground wire

as the series 1 AFM has two seperate ground wires, and the S2 has only one ground wire

it would be easier to use the correct AFM, but it is however possible
