Boost Back To Stock?

Hey all,

i've got a r33 s2 and at the moment it's got a few mods on it, but i'm just returning a few things back to stock for now...

I do have a manual boost controller (turbotech one) at the moment running about 11psi. My question is if i disconnect this and just have the hoses connecting via a T-Piece, will this return the boost back to stock?

Since it has exhaust mods etc anyway, i'm sure it won't be stock level but will removing the boost controller turn the boost down?

Just want to confirm this before i go at it.

if you run it off the wastegate spring only (hose going from waste gate to turbo or intercooler pipe), then it will "slowly" get to 5psi.

if you use the factory solenoid (they usually sell for about $30), then it will go to 5psi and 7psi over 4500rpm as usual.

It'll get to around 4PSi as quickly as possible.

The R33 actuators, are actually a 3PSi unit, so it will actually only get to 3PSi at the source of pressure. And it will do so as quickly as possible.
