Hey so i've heard it from my tuner before, seen mention of it in street magazine and once more in motor (in reference to a new clubby they had on the dyno that put out 220rwkw) but couldnt find any topics on it

New engines supposedly put out less power until they've "loosened up" whats the go with that? Is there more resistance and friction before they've been driven a few thousand k's or something? In general how much less power would you expect out of a freshly rebuilt rb compared to one rebuilt 2000 or 5000 k's ago?

Cheers

ah ok cheers mate, i've put 2000km's on mine, did all the bedding in things, going to assume the engines well and ready to go back onto the dyno then

that is a question for you to ask your tuner and discuss about it.

yeh car scored a bit low on the dyno (about 30kw's lower than average), just wanted to make sure it wasn't the engine that needed loosening up as he suggested

suspecting possible cat collapse now.. hoping for anyway, failing that theres something shagged somewhere
