Have a rb25det neo and have purched Tomei Poncams 260degree 9,15mm lift.

And Tomei valve springs type B with Retainers for the intake side why not for the exhaust side aswell??

And do I have to shims the lifters if so How do I do? Any pics?

What is the part number for the springs you have purchased?

Do you have the equipment to change the springs and is the head on the block or off it?

I'm pretty sure that number suits R33 RB25DET, Not Neo.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also I don't think springs are required for a 9.15mm lift upgrade on a Neo either.

The springs suits rb25det with solid lifers and I have that stock on my neo so I think it will fitt??

OK but how do I now if I have to shims or not?

These springs will NOT suit your application, they are designed by tomei to work with the solid lifter conversion for an r33 RB25DET not a neo, and honestly your better off spending your money on a set on i think its performance valve springs.. much cheaper and work just as well if not better, the yen is shit and anything from japan is stupidly expensive at the moment.

Exactly what Cartman said.

These springs are for the 33 RB25DET with solid lifter conversion. They do not suit Neo.

What part number did you get for the camshafts?

i had a solid conversion kit and it included the same springs with only one side of retainers.

You should stay with the hydraulic lifters and save the hassle.

its a neo you dingis . how can he stay with hydraulic lifters if he never had them in the first place?
