I know you haven't used it yet Reagan, but there are there are several things very wrong with that nitrous setup. Like, really bad.

Is it because it is mounted after the throttle body, however not in every runner like a direct port setup would be?

Quite the opposite, PM. A single fogger can work great to a point on a single-throttle skyline setup but not like that. And GT, think about the design of a nitrous nozzle for a second: number one cyl will likely receive bugger all as the discharge is at right-angles to the incoming air through the throttle. Having lines that thick and that long from the outlet of the solenoids is no good either as when the nitrous and fuel is supposed to shut off, you essentially have two large reservoirs still flowing, albeit for a short time.

2RIS if you lookat the trajectory at which the greddy intake manifold is made its following the same line as it would as if the nozzle would be fited on the pipe, and as for the lines they come pre asembled, also the nozzle doesnt shoot out wards it shoots to the side soo tis actualy pointing at the other cyl's , the reason i didnt put it on the pipe is that i have allot of things thier already the water/meth nozzle the air temp sensor and the iac valve line it was to crowded trust me 2 ris ive researched well :D eh if the motor breaks ill put a 2jz in it :) more power

It's a soft plume style nozzle which is good as it lessens the issue a little but, if you can find an upstream position for it that would be miles better for tuning and power. It will be totally worth your time and effort.

You will find the distribution uneven with the way it is presently. It's only a little bit of a pain to relocate. Just plug the exsisting hole with a small brass bung.

Definately place it before the throttle in this case, somewhere, anywhere even if it's closer to the intercooler outlet. The mixture will then follow the path over and around the throttle butterfly in the same manner as the rest of the air plus you get better and more even mixture with the turbulence over butterfly.

I hear what you're saying but i know that of which i speak. That is just about the worst nozzle position possible. No nozzle design, not even a poor one like this, can compensate for the position you've put it in. The fact that the lines are pre-made means that even less thought has been put into the design by the manufacturer. If you want some advice on how to better set it up, let me know. But please don't kid yourself that it's capable of anything like even distribution.

Its easier to let him have his HP claim even though we know its not fully acurate but he is packin alot of horse power and is out there kicking everyones ass showing who is boss.

How are you guys all so closed minded >_< This was possibly the nicest post from an Australian in this thread about his dyno results... and it still says they're not accurate. WTF is with you guys? Your results aren't accurate either. No ones are. I could very accurately go to every dyno thread in this forum and put a post saying you guys are posting bullshit power figures because the ones on the Dyno Dynamics don't match up with any other type of dyno in the world and Dyno Dynamics are far from the be all of dynos - lower reading doesn't mean more accurate.

The only number that matters is the one on the timeslip, so whether the number is higher or lower than what you'd expect for what it runs at the strip - his time on its PREVIOUS tune to what the dyno reading he reported is still faster than well over 90% of the people on this forum can claim, and thats on a strip far inferior to anything you guys have here and with far less support.

That is an excellent point and seems to have silenced some of the critics. Not all of use are priviliged enough to get dyno numbers in real "aussie horsepower". I guess we will have to settle for the inacurate numbers that EVERYBODY else in the world uses.

Regan, I think Guilt-Toy disagrees with you (and me) but isn't getting rude or anything. It's the internet, people are goign to argue. Being a dick about it however and just dismissing what people say like they are the final authority on the subject is another thing. A bunch of people jumping on the bashing bandwagon who have no actual experience with 10-11 second cars just adds to it. I think maybe certain person got a little sand in their vajay jay about the fact they are running the same kind of setup up with a bunch of name brand parts on top of that and haven't managed near those numbers. "I'm not making that kind of hp, so there is no way you are either!" :D

I'm not one to comment on horsepower or timeslips like I know anything, but I do know Guilt Toy and I trust him as my tuner... He is competent enough to comment on this thread, it's right down his alley...

I also hope you realise now Regan that yes, people are bringing up points against you, but most of them aren't to hurt you, we take the mickey out of anyone and everyone...

On a personal note, there are very few things I like better then seeing an RB25 with a massive turbo mounted on the side :( but even I know that Nos nozzle won't give you the best spray...

Oh don't get me wrong either, I have no reason at all to question Guilt Toy or his knowledge - everything else seems to point to him knowing what he's doing just fine. The dyno comments on here were just a bit rough and unfounded.
