How Can I Tell If My R34 Gtr Wing Is Genuine Or Copy?

Hey all,

I am just offloading a 34 gtr wing, but I dont know if it is a genuine one or not, and I dont want to mislead anyone - I assume there must be a way to tell the difference, but I dont know what it is, should I be looking for serial numbers? casting marks? and which bits should be carbon fiber?

Looks real to me, but I only say that cause I have a copy on my 33 and it came with metal stands...

that being said, my wing and yours, besides the stands, looks pretty much identical

Thanks, it looks like one, but Im not 100% - I might have to say its a copy, then if it turns out to be real I dont think anyone would complain too much

A few ways to tell, fake will be fibreglass not plastic. Secondly the second wing peice is aluminum in the real gtr, and silver ussually.

If it's a real one, the two supports at the top of the legs sit flush inside the top section.

On copies the top section sits 'on top' of them.

I think the arms are aluminium also
