Sard Injectrs And Tomei Rail Problems

Hello,

Looking for some advice on the above fueling combo.

I have a twin entry Tomei rail, and SARD 820cc injectors (lime). Garage phoned fee, fee emailed me so the info may be a bit skewed.

The connectors on the injectors have been trimmed to allow them to secure on without fouling the injector body.

BUT when it comes to fitting the injecors to the rail insitu the plug now fouls the rail, and tuner isnt confident the plug will stay if mounted the other way.

Anyone come accross this problem, they must have as its a tried and tested match.

You could always go back to the stock fuel rail

Although interesting that it fouls the fuel rail, its it meant to be a replacement?

I know the SARD plugs need to be trimmed for GTR's, well, at least older models did as I have a suspicion I read something here stating that they don't any more (about 4-5 months ago)... but sorry I cant confirm that 100%

Ok. I'll add my two cents

I have just recently gone to a 11.0 Sard fuel rail (which should be the almost the same as your Tomei) with Sard 800 CC injectors. All i did was change the O - Rings to new ones. I didnt cut/modify or change anything else apart from that and everything seems fine!

Injectors are also lime green.
