So I'm down here in Adelaide from Brisbane till Monday night, I fly out around 8ish.

Just wondering what there is to do while i'm down here visiting family???

I know of the Street Machine show that's on tomorrow which i'll be attending.

Just wondering if anyone knows of anything else on or anything worth sight seeing while i'm here?

Doesn't have to be car related.... happy to check out anything to keep me occupied while i'm down here!

Everybody is out and about doing things already ... so don't expect a heap of responses.

I've just come back from the car show ... waiting for friends to turn up for a bbq. Will be making an appearance again after lunch.

:D

Might pay if your into walking to go up to lofty lookout and go for a walk through the wildlife park, or glenelg as said. Victor is abit quiet these days. then just usually stuff to do like movies/gokarting etc whatever floats ur boat.

at night town is best, sunday night bay is the best (the grand)

Not a whole lot to do, i'm sure you'll find sometime.

    • Yes. Needs new ports. Usually just achieved by screwing an adapter onto them. Be aware that any AC compressor that hasn't been used in a long time will very likely have dried out seals and will not hold gas. Oh, and obviously you will require a new receiver-dryer also.
    • Can you covert an R32's AC from r12 to r134 if the compressor/hoses etc are still all good? Pretty sure on my car the AC was degassed when it was imported  to remove the naughty r12 and save the ozone layer, and the fancy climate control system just blew air around. Was happy to drive the car with windows down back then, but now I am old and need to be kept cool
    • Just to circle back here, I've sold my automatic trans to another Stagea owner in OH.
    • 94 RON E10 beats the E10 we get out here, which starts at 87 AKI/~91 RON and goes up to all of 91 AKI/~95 RON. E0 doesn't even exist at most servos and when it does it's usually appallingly expensive and no more than 88-90 AKI.
    • R12 is probably still out there somewhere, at some ridiculous price. eBay also banned the sale of these older refrigerants on their platform so it's harder to connect to a seller now.
