one of my rear subframe bushes has been leaking and im starting to get knocking, i know its a massive job to replace them.

now i doubt putting the poly pineapples on would do much but will the Alloy Subframe Bushes do the job?

i know its a band-aid fix but i'd really like to avoid spending 12hours under the car!

im talking about these

is it worth putting these in or should i just bite the bullet and change the bushes?

yeah these will lock it down solid, but the in cabin noise will increase by a fair bit. when i had to do the same in my 32 i went for taking the car off the roar for a week, i had another to drive, worked on it a little bit each arvo after work and changed the bushes for a set of Noltec ones.

i dont know if you can still get noltec bushes, you'll have to check, but its your only real other option. the in cabin noise only increased by a little bit with them, nowhere near as much as a set of the solid mount ones though.

I used the alloy subframe mounts in my R32 GTR. only a minor increase in noise. Barely noticeable over the exhaust anyway. You can get them for less than $150 and fit them in under an hour at home so why not try them?

Everyone told me i'd get a huge increase in noise, i put in solid subframe and diff mounts and it was exactly the same as before.... i noticed a difference in the way the car handled and i didn't mind it

well if they dont work i will have to buy new bushes and i will have wasted $135 on the alloy bushes....

i'd like to hear from someone who has installed them into a car with leaking bushes

1) I have fitted them on a car with leaking bushes.

2) No-one is suggesting they don't work.

the only 'con' people ever mention with them is the noise issue. I didn't find it a problem, and I've never heard anyone else who has actually used them complain about it either. So spend the lousy $135 and give them a try. IF you find the noise is too much for you to bear, sell them for $100 and get the bushes. no great loss.

god its hard

Thanks for your order buddy - Once payment has cleared your goods will be dispatched.

They will fit with Stock Bushes no problem - Leaking, broken or otherwise.

The increase in road noise is a bit of a myth. We have installed them and noticed no real difference road noise on various cars and setups.

I will also email you some instructions for DIY install - It will take approx 20 mins on a hoist with a rattle gun and around 1hr at home on jack stands with hand tools and some patience.
