I got the mechanic 4L of gearbox oil (VMX-80) and 2L of diff oil (LSX-90) from Supercheap, he says almost all is used, how do I trust him and how do I know they filled it to the top of the fill holes??

Well thats what we pay for in any service, I guess..cost me $60 labor..

bit paranoid mate ..If almost all is used sounds like he did it right...

If someone paid me 60$ to change their oil. I know I'd do it properly so they would comeback again..Wouldnt you?

60$ for barely 30mins work is good money..

unless you were there to see it getting changed not sure.

maybe he did not change oil at all , maybe he did.

if you dont trust him and think he didn't do the job properly , might be a wise idea to go out buy new oils and do it.

i guess only way to know for sure.

if you need help with new oil changes let me know i can help :)

Thanks Buddy, I was there standing at the workshop and saw the guy change my oil and put in my new one that I supplied, my only concern is that I do not know if he filled it to the top of the fill hole or not? I mean customers are only allowed beyond a certain point in any workshop so the best they can do is watch and hope they doin things right..

Ya 60 bux for doin both diff and gearbox oil, easy job, just need a hoist and oil pump that I dont have.. Yea I know they do try to overcharge 'young' people if they can, but they aint gona be able to do that with this 33 y.o.!
