I posted this in our qld section, What are the chances of all states doing something similar on the same day. A coordinated multi state effort should see some good results for the poor buggas.

In light of the horror unfolding in victoria as I type I am proposing cruise to raise funds to help the poor buggas left behind to deal with the fallout.

The western whale watchers cruise will take place on sunday the 22nd of feb.

Staging point will be at woolly's/macca's carpark at yamanto, departure time will be 8.30 sharp.

Cruise duration will be advertised when I get some feed back as to how long you guys wish to drive for.

There will be a food vendor at the cruise destination and i will be hitting him up for a dontation of some of his profit garnered by our presence.

Cruise donation of 10 dollars per car will be the price and if any members have contacts a couple of worthwhile raffle prizes wouldnt go astray. any further donations will be gratefull accepted.

Funds will go to the red cross bushfire appeal.

G'day all. I know some, if not most, will remember the Tsunami cruise in '04, put together by Valvebounce. Well, one half of that was/is me, and I'm just looking into logistics etc of doing the same. These thing do take time to sort, and the effect of what has happened, and is still happening, in Vic', will be with all of us for a lot longer yet unfortunately.

I know everyone means well by getting a cruise/donation happening pronto, but if we all think it out, we'll all have much more positive impact long term.

Can anyone that has contacts in any other car club looking at doing something please PM me so I can get my details passed on?

It looks like any efforts to get my GT-R alive again will be put on hold yet again. At least this time it's a worthy cause!

Cheers, Jayce.

    • Hello,   My name if Frederick, i'm 30 years old and I live in Belgium, Europe! I used to have a Nissan 370z daily but since I got a company car I turned that into my seattime driftcar. About 3 years ago I also wanted something older with more feel, so I got an R32 GTST with an rb26 engine. I am now getting the rb built to have around 800hp and it's close to being finished. I'm very excited for how it will drive and how driveable it will be! Regards, Fred!
    • Appreciate the insight! Talked to some local folks and they basically told me "it's not that deep." As long as the threading on the inside matches what's at the steering rack, everything else can be constructed-to-fit. There are full aftermarket kits I can use - probably better for my car overall since it's lowered.  Example: GKTech M14 Super Adjustable Inner Tie Rod Set - Nissan Skyline R32 R33 R33, 240SX, 300ZX, 350Z / Infiniti G35 M14I-TROD-2 gktM145-TROD gktM14I-TROD - Concept Z Performance (These can be packaged with their "high misalignment" tie rod ends).
    • Hey Mate , I suggest doing a search on eBay , they have a few kits that fit Q50 and might fit with a few modifications on a 400r.
    • Yeah so that clutch kit i post above would work and i do not need to worry? 🙂 https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type   This one.
