if the alan key adjustment on the top of my tein strut is broken is there any other way to adjust the dampening of the shock or i need to throw them away?

Repairable.

If your talking about the click adjuster at the top of the shock absorber being the part that has broken, you can get replcement ones. Best to get someone who knows what they are doing to change it over as you need to be a bit careful with the grub screw that the adjuster conects to in the shock shaft.

Fulcrum Suspension in QLD should be able to help you with getting the part you need. If you have any problems, let me know and ill see what i can do.

Yes it can be fixed.

The tricky part will be getting the broken section of the adjuster which is in the shaft. You can try and tip the unit upside down but that will rarely do much. You will probably need a strong magnet to get it out.

Hope that helps.
