i posted this up a while ago

anyways my panasonic head unit is freezing again after i switch car off and stays on and the only way to stop it is dc the battery which is a pain in the ass

as it happens many times a day sometimes its fine some not..while its operating fine there is a red light blinking behind the detachable face when its frozen the red light dissapears..

also i noticed the face sorta blanks out sometime when i press the eq buttons etc etc if this helps..

chris im sure you will see this you suggested a new connecting ribbon were do i find one? i dont remember it having a ribbon just a bunch of wires and a plug...is that what ya meant by ribbon??

cheers..

it is. that said if its the same one as before I'd simply replace it. that makes it easier. the repair itself will be over $200 and for that money you could have a new one.
