Boost gauge acting wierd

The other day when I started my car I noticed the boost gauge was acting a little strange. With the car idiling the gauge was indicating just under 0. While driving when i lift my foot of the accelerator the gauge only drops to about a third of the way to the first line below 0. I am 99.9% sure it went down way further than that before. I also think the car may be a little down on power, but I may be pre occupied with the funny gauge and imaging the power loss. Any ideas?

maybe you should test the gauge on someone elses car??

I don't know anyone else with a skyline, or a turbo car for that matter.

what about your stock boost gauge, does that still work??

I am talking bout my stock gauge. I've heard a lot of people bag the stock gauge. Enrico who would you recommend?

it shouldnt be just under the 0 it should be between the two last marks on the bottom. On a aftermarket gauge it usally is -0.6 vac..

Check your boost gauge hose, there could be a leak or crack in the hose.
