Phatboy
Bad luck, sorry to hear. Usually in the modified car scene you really do get what you pay for. or did he advertise that it was made of magical fusing metal also? LOL. SECURITY
yeah thats my point, if it comes with everything you need to make it work then there shouldnt be an issue. the HKS/Greddy kits come with everything you need. Apparently his magical metal fusing intake kit did come with its own hoses for him to use it so i dont see an issue there either. Bliksem
mmm yep said that on pg. 1 The main difference looks to be the hose connections on the top. You'll probably have to re-do all of them. SECURITY
exactly. anyone buying a steel intake pipe will need to modify those hoses. and from what i can see they come with a fitting to put a temp sensor or even nozzle of some sort. Jay777
i wouldnt mind paying extra for a good quality brand name pipe but the problem was i couldnt find one anywhere. I still cant find one for an R34 except of course the shitty ebay one. rev210
The two pieces of hose i got with the pipe say Autobarn888. so i would say yeah. That's the problem. They make door stops and book ends. Autobarn888 = super power monkey technique to the head. Or just have a look in the trader list on the forum. Jay777
Thanks James. Contacted JIS and they said they'll try and get me one. No guarantees though. What if I installed the alloy pipe that i got and then put in between rubber hoses from the original smaller pipes like an extension. I really don't want to cut the original piping. What do you guys recommend or shall i just scrap the idea and keep looking for a brand one. And whats the middle hole for? Its got rings in it, so its for something to be screwed in. SECURITY
those 'rings' you're referring to is the thread for an intake air temp sensor or a nozzle of some sort. mate, just back off the skyline and go harass a poor little honda civic or something. SECURITY
it wont work unless you bend or cut the original piping, otherwise it wont fit on right.
