Whistle From The Aircon

bit of a whistle coming from that area sometimes

any one get this sometimes in there 32?

know what it is?

does it only come on during certain songs? id say it only likes some of your songs and wont whistle along through all of them.

yeah mate, if i had that gauge in my pocket it would make me run faster.

im guessing its leaves or just general crap stuck in your A/C system. which vent is it coming from? left, right or centre?

it just sounds like thereis someone whistleing behind the dash on and off

its pretty weird

its not animal as im sure it would be dead by now

id say its in the middle area

if its coming from the centre then ive got some bad news for you - its going to keep whistling. if its anything behind there then the whole dash needs to come out to clean it out.

after not using my air con over winter I get a whistle but it goes away after running it on high for 1/2hour...

no idea if its the same in r33's as 32's but when i have my vents closed alittle bit they whistle as i increase the fan speed..... if you got time pull it apart slowly and carefully and its probbaly something blowing in the wind..... other than that i personally wouldnt bother about it unless it sounds to you that the fan is on its last legs or the AC is about to die....

i dont use AC or Fan often unless its raining and windows start to fog up.....

Mine whistled on x4 speed when i 1st got it, (R33) then there was a pop and something shot out the vent and it was gone.

But it has recently started doing it again, and its starting to piss me off too Might take the front covers off and ram a compressor gun down there and see if anything dislodges.

You could always try that too. Maybe stick a vacume hose down there and jiggle it round. Might just be a leaf.. one of those ones you used to use as a whistle when you were a kid ROFL

My skyline has the same thing.... It slowly whistles and it gets faster until it just goes away n the aircon gets colder..... I dunno if I have a leak or I need a regas... might be the AC condensor as well.... :S
