saw same thing happen at the cross bout 5 months back, some random pegged an unopend bottle at a white r33 and it dented the crap out of it.... lazy scumbag pricks,

and lol a trolley pole? if its the part of the trolley where you puch from then that would probably just bend on their heads lol, soft ass metal coverd in plastic, get club lock, can't ever be used aginst you if cops deem it to be unsafe aslong as you have the key for it in your key ring.... does allot more damage, also you get to lock your steering wheel up reducing the risk of bum joy riders from stealing your car.... the pros will still steal your car but joy riders are the main problem seeing as they drive it, thrash it and if they dont ride it off then you get a slightly damaged car with a gblown gear box to fix your self coz not worth insurance, atleast the pros make the car dissapear lol

yeah trolley poles are a crap.....

extenable batterns are ALOTTTTTTTTTTTTT better!

:)

i tried to salvage 4 windows from r33's i wrecked and every single one of them broke when trying to remove it. so yeah thats the hard part.. they are stuck in there pretty hard :)

The glass expands over time and is pretty much only held together by the excess pressure of the sil. This is why it's hard to remove these suckers.

Good luck sourcing a new sheet of glass.

It's be awesome if we lived in like a carmageddon world where you could go home, fit up your spike and chainsaw bull bar and go back to find them :D

Sucks.

Rural? What the?

Maybe they've changed over the years, but Trolley poles were hard as fook about 5-10 yr ago.

+ you wouldn't be allowed to drive around with it in you're car as it's classed as a weapon.

If you don't remember the kid that had one thrown at him through his car window and penetrated his neck at Woodcroft about 7yr ago and died.

Well, you should of been born earlier.

Also those extendable stick/battons are illegal same as taser's and anything like that.

yes extendable battons are very much illegal........so are butterfly knives..

but people still carry them...................

Just carry a baseball bat. as long as there's a ball in there... it's clearly not a weapon but for playing around.

you have a point but.....

but if you hurt someone with it........your gonna get charged!!!

but lets say you get attacked by 2 of them or 3.....if you pull it out......your gonna have to be prepared to USE IT! because when they take it off you...your in big trouble.

so you cant hold back and think...."oh shit if i hit him...hes gonna get into a coma or die...then ill go jail"

because the law states that if someone threatens your life with a weapon, you are can do whatever it takes to minimise the risk... like if someone pulls a knife on you...you can gouge his eyeballs out to get you out of trouble.

yes its self defence in court but NOT for the reason cause you got the shits cause someone threw a beer bottle through your car.

and if that was the reason and you beat someone to a bloody pulp...the chances is......your gonna go to jail for that........

the law sux, its pretty messed up....

but with all honesty......he did the best and smartest thing was to.......drive away.......

    • Based off what you’ve said here, I think I’ve figured out a good bit of what I’ve done wrong -  So on the line going from the PCV valve to carbon canister, there’s a T joint that is pretty much right next to that lower port - I hadn’t noticed that the hose in the diagram was curved to attach onto the carb, so I was putting that line for the lower port onto the PCV line / carbon canister line instead. I’m going to have a flick through the manual again tomorrow and should hopefully find a diagram that’ll show me where that T joint should be connected to. Timing also 100% needs to be sorted out as well, should be able to tackle that tomorrow as well. Definitely feel like I should be on the right track now though.
    • The screw is for idle (pilot circuit) mixture adjustment. Else, I'm confused ~ the diagram shows 2 carby ports, and the intake manifold port, but you're suggesting the "2nd port on the back of the carb that isn’t mentioned in the diagrams" ...yet, both carby ports are shown...que?... ...in any event, that port should be connected, but if not (like it is now), it's unlikely to cause a backfire out the carby (it would introduce false air and give you a fast/lean idle) ...sounds more like timing issues/spark plug wire routing responsible for the backfiring.
    • That's fair, I can see both points. I get enthusiastic when I see the FS section has a new post and want to see what interesting thing someone is selling. Then I get deflated it's a bump of a 10 year old post. Ha ha
    • Couple of litres of moonshine from his southern cousins would do it...
    • Brakes definitely won't make him faster. They only slow you down. 😛
