OzTrackDays.com is running an event up at the Marulan Driver Training Centre

http://mdtc.com.au/ it is a great 4WD venue and drifting is permitted.

Basic format of Day is $150 per person.

Places limited to 40 drivers.

Dual drivers of the same car are permitted each driver pays normal fee.

Passengers are Permitted and encouraged (restricted to paying drivers)

There will be five groups of eight cars in 12 minute sessions.

"Beer Baron" should be able to vouch for me he knows me as "SpiritR"

from FDOwners.com look forward to seeing some Skylines where they

belong going hard round the twisties.

Went to see this track around 6 months ago, as it was in its last stages of being finished. Great concept, but I must warn you it is a very short track.

It is a shorter track .... but you are mainly missing straight length.

Wakefield has less elevation change and in my honest opinion less challenging and less exciting,

I drove the tracks back to back one day after the other and I love Marulan's layout.

No one that I have spoken to has not enjoyed their time on this piece of fresh tarmac.

Wakefield will tax your car more but your driving talent less.

Here's the tricks;

1. Dont rely on speed in 3rd gear to help times

2. Dont come off, walls/embankments arent nice to bodywork

3. Remember its not a real track

Easy :P

With that said, its nice to have something different to the usual driving places
